We are seeking to recruit a coastal-ocean modeller to join the world leading modelling team at the National Oceanography Centre. Using the NEMO model, you will work on a new Atlantic Margin Model at exceptionally high resolution, to form a configuration with unprecedented capabilities in representing shelf sea physics and ocean-shelf coupling. You will have a PhD in physical oceanography (or equivalent research experience). A degree in a numerate physical or environmental science or mathematics and experience in numerical ocean modelling is essential. You will be skilled at model analysis and model development skills, would be advantageous. You will be expected to publish in relevant peer reviewed literature. The post is available for 2 years initially.
