JOB PURPOSE: To be an active member of the Marine Ecosystems Research Programme (MERP – www.marine-ecosystems.org.uk) project team based at Queen’s University Belfast. MERP is a large scale marine ecosystem research program focussed on improving our understanding and predictions of marine ecosystem responses to changing climate and human management.
The Research Fellow will assist with data synthesis, target new data collection, and integrate data, models and measures of ecosystem services within a common modelling framework in order to improve our understanding of the whole UK marine ecosystem. During the project the Research Fellow will work closely with the project partners from across the UK. The Research Fellow will contribute to planning and delivery of the MERP research activity, in particular Module 2.1, to ensure that the overall Marine Ecosystem Research Program objectives are met.
